GOTS

The Global Organic Textile Standard was developed by international entities and is recognised worldwide as the leading processing standard for textile products made from organic fibres. It aims to define requirements for ensuring the organic status of textile products from the point at which the raw material is purchased to the final product providing credibility guarantees to consumers.

This standard covers an environmentally and socially responsible process from the gathering of raw materials through to their manufacturing and labelling, with at least 70% certified organic natural fibres.  It also enables processors and manufacturers to supply their textile products made from organic fibres with a certificate accepted on the most important sales markets.
