MicroFinish® technology is a coating developed by Towa characterised by a soft and flexible compound formed by microsuction cups to give gloves remarkable grip performance thanks to the thousands of “microscopic pockets”. When these microsuction cups come into contact with a surface, they create a vacuum that disperses fluids and allows the entire grip surface to make clean contact with the object.
Most gloves used for slippery environments have a stiff compound and rough surface coating utilised in only a very small percentage of the grip’s surface area.
