FRAGATA softshell now with segmented band, cold-weather certified and also available in navy blue

CJ
Comunicación Juba 27 January 2025
Category: Novelty

Our bi-colour hi-visibility FRAGATA softshell in fluorescent yellow and black has evolved: now it not only acts as a windbreaker, but also includes a segmented stripe, is certified for cold protection and is also available in navy blue.

Advanced hi-visibility clothing technology offers unparalleled benefits for those working in extreme conditions.

Why choose segmented belts?

Segmented bands are much more than just a technical detail:

  • Superior flexibility: they adapt to body movements, ensuring comfort and freedom of movement, ideal for dynamic work.
  • Enhanced breathability: Reduces heat and moisture, key for hot climates or intense activities.
  • Durability and grip: Resistant to heavy use and frequent washing.
  • High reflectivity: Maximum visibility in low light or night conditions.

Cold certified according to EN 14058:2017+A1:2023 standard

Garment certified in accordance with EN 14058:2017+A1:2023, which makes it the best ally for those who work in extreme cold environments, where temperatures may fall as low as -5°C. This standard ensures that the garment:

  • Protects against low temperatures: designed to maintain body heat, even in extreme cold conditions.
  • Climate sensitive: Provides protection against combinations of ambient temperature, humidity and wind - the most important factors in cold environments.
  • Insulates against wind: Even when temperatures don't change, wind can intensify the feeling of cold, and this parka is equipped to combat it.
  • Resists moisture: Keeping clothing dry is essential to maintain its level of protection, as water can reduce thermal insulation.

How about our new version in navy blue combined with fluorescent yellow?

Our top hi-visibility windbreaker jacket in fluorescent yellow combined with black (ref. HVS9910B) is now also available in navy blue (ref. HVS9910DN), maintaining its design and functionality. The navy blue/fluorescent yellow colour mix brings a modern aesthetic, in keeping with environments where image matters as much as functionality.

Technical highlights

  • Premium material with polyester/nylon outer and micro porous PU film, waterproof and breathable.
  • Thermal interior with 310 gr/m2 fleece lining.
  • Waterproofness of 8.000 MM.
  • Breathability 800 MVP.
  • Practical details: Front zip and velcro fastening, retractable cap, side pockets and one zipped chest pocket.
  • Elasticated Lycra® cuffs for a snug, comfortable fit.

And all at the usual PRICE.

High visibility clothing is essential for many industrial sectors where safety, visibility and regulatory compliance are a priority. Some of the main sectors where this type of clothing is of most interest include:

  • Construction and public works in road works, urban or large infrastructure projects, workers are often exposed to traffic, heavy machinery and low light environments.
  • Transport and logistics: includes truck drivers, loading dock operators, warehouse employees and airport staff.
  • Mining and quarrying industry in mines, quarries or boreholes, conditions are often dark or with limited visibility.
  • Energy and installations (power, wind, oil and gas): technicians working on power installations, wind farms or oil rigs often operate in hazardous environments or outdoors.
  • Agriculture and forestry for work in open terrain, exposed to machinery and changes in natural light.
  • Emergency services and maintenance: Firefighters, police, paramedics and maintenance technicians on roads or public infrastructure.
  • Maritime and port industry: Personnel in ports, shipyards and on ships.
  • Railway and public transport activities: Workers in track maintenance, stations or railway traffic control.
  • Waste and recycling industry: Workers in waste collection, recycling and waste management in waste treatment plants.

💡Investing in high-visibility clothing not only protects workers, but also reinforces the image of a company's commitment to safety.
