Top quality brown split cowhide welding gloves

CJ
Comunicación Juba 25 February 2025
Category: Novelty

Juba has added two brown cowhide references to its range of welding gloves. These new top quality gloves offer excellent protection against flames and radiant heat and are available in two different lengths, 204SMC WELDY without cuff with 32 cm and 204SML WELDY with cuff with 26 cm in total.

Like many other Juba references, this model has a wide range of sizes available, from size 7 or S to 11 or XXL, a fundamental aspect to guarantee comfort, safety and performance in the various work activities. The proper fit of safety gloves prevents slipping, discomfort or restricted movement, which not only protects workers from risks such as cuts, abrasions or impacts, but also improves efficiency and promotes ergonomics by adapting to the needs of each hand.

Outstanding features

The areas most exposed to wear and impact receive maximum protection thanks to the glove's additional reinforcement in the palm, thumb and knuckles. This provides extra strength in critical areas, protecting the wearer from cuts, abrasions and impacts, while extending the glove's lifespan, even in high-intensity tasks. The palm reinforcement improves grip and protects against wear and tear due to constant contact, the thumb reinforcement optimises durability in activities involving repetitive movements or pressure in this area and the knuckle reinforcement protects against accidental impacts, ideal for demanding industrial environments.

On the other hand, this new Juba reference includes a specific reinforcement between the thumb and forefinger, a key area that is usually subject to a lot of wear and tear. This reinforcement is common in many work glove references, as it increases durability in this critical area and improves protection during activities that require intensive use of the gripper hand, such as holding tools, handling heavy materials or performing repetitive tasks.

In addition, these welding gloves have been designed with the user's comfort and protection in mind, featuring a full lining that not only provides a more comfortable feel during use, but also acts as an additional barrier against heat, cold or friction, enhancing the welding glove experience.

Also contributing to user comfort is the elasticated wrist seam, which provides a secure and comfortable fit, ensuring that the glove stays in place even during intense movements. This not only improves grip, but also prevents dirt, dust or particles from entering the glove, offering greater protection. On the other hand, its ergonomic design adapts to different wrist sizes, guaranteeing prolonged use without discomfort or excessive pressure. It is ideal for jobs that require precision and freedom of movement without compromising safety.

The glove is sewn with para-aramid thread, a material known for its high resistance to heat, cuts and abrasion, guaranteeing exceptional durability even in extreme working conditions. This type of thread is ideal for applications such as welding, as it can withstand high temperatures without compromising the integrity of the glove. In addition, the thumb-mounted seam provides an ergonomic design that improves mobility and control, allowing for more precise handling of tools and materials. This combination of materials and design guarantees superior performance, especially in demanding industrial environments.

Certified according to EN12477:2001+A1:2005, which combines the requirements of EN 388 for mechanical strength and EN 407 for flame and heat resistance. Specifically, these gloves are classified as Type A, with more general characteristics, so they are especially recommended for welding with Metal Inert Gas (MIG), where greater resistance to heat and less dexterity are required, as they are thicker.

Not only can welders use this type of glove, but it is also recommended for use in furnaces, oxyfuel, laminates or shipbuilding.

Juba offers this glove in two types of packaging: on the one hand, there is the option of 6 pairs per pack and, on the other hand, those who wish can purchase this reference in 60 pairs per box.
