#8M: International Women’s Day

CJ
Comunicación Juba 07 March 2025
Category: News

At Juba, women not only work, they also lead, decide and build

In a sector traditionally dominated by men, female leadership is a reality in this company.

On this International Women's Day, Juba wants to show its commitment to gender equality because it is not just a statement. Both the company's management and many of the positions in the middle management are occupied by women. Here, the joint work of women and men drives growth and allows us to be leaders in Iberia in working gloves in a highly competitive market, as well as being present in more than 40 countries.

However, the road has not always been easy. In fact, the presence of women in industrial and technical sectors is still a minority.

The women at Juba challenge the status quo, change the rules of the game and demonstrate that growth is achieved by men and women working together, because real transformation happens when we move forward together.

Beyond 8M: a daily commitment

Juba's commitment to gender equality is not just a message to celebrate International Women's Day. The company works every day to ensure that the entire team has the same opportunities for growth and development, regardless of their gender.

The company directs its actions to the global commitment of the 2030 Agenda, driving actions that promote gender equality. In particular, it works in line with the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • SDG 5: Gender equality - Promoting the presence of women in leadership positions and fostering a work environment where all people have equal opportunities for development.
  • SDG 8: Decent work and economic growth - focus on fair working conditions, equal access to growth opportunities and the elimination of all gender gaps.
  • SDG 10: Reducing inequalities - Implementing internal policies that favour inclusion and diversity, ensuring that talent is the sole criterion for professional growth.

The road to real equality still has challenges, but at Juba we believe that a more equitable world is possible and that every action, no matter how small, contributes to achieving it.
